Superficial/Medium & Deep Peels
Skin peels vary in grade and depth. We can tailor-make your treatment plan and at times we may recommend a course of peels between 3 and 6 spaced 4 weeks apart. At EK Aesthetics we only use trusted brands such as Alumiermd and Obagi.
Skin peels work by exfoliating the dead dull layer on the surface of the skin leading to healthier freshen brighter skin complexion and tone. Regular peels can contribute to anti-ageing and an increase in collagen and elastin.
Bespoke treatment plans are also suitable for skin conditions such as acne, acne scarring, hyperpigmentation amongst many other skin conditions.
Procedure Time/Anaesthetic
This procedure requires no anaesthetic and takes between 15-45 minutes.
Pain
Throughout your procedure, you will feel mild/moderate discomfort.
Risks
There are potential short term risks such as temporary redness, dryness, increased sensitivity.
Recovery and Results
Recovery will be 0-5 days depending on the peel and results will last for around 3-12 months.
